The Problem We Solve

Dealers run a system.
Now you have one too.

Every stage of a dealership transaction is engineered to grow the store's gross profit — not to get you the best outcome.

  • Steering the talk to monthly payments so the real cost disappears
We negotiate on one number: the out-the-door price
  • Add-on products stacked into the deal with no real explanation
Every product is explained to you before your signature goes down
  • Contract APR quietly padded above the rate the lender approved
We check the offered rate against your actual buy rate
  • Surprise market adjustments appearing once you're committed
Unauthorized charges come off the deal before it's finalized
“Every contract that comes out of a dealership finance office or a lender is written to favor the house. We spent years on that side of the desk. Today, that same insight belongs to our clients.”

How We Work

A simple three-step path
to the keys.

Skip the lot. Skip the haggling. Sign with nothing left to question.

STEP 01
Source

Give us the make, model, trim, and options you're after. We canvass dealers across the country — and often surface vehicles before they're listed publicly.

STEP 02
Negotiate

We deal with stores directly over phone, email, and dealer portals, armed with invoice figures, holdback, and month-end quota pressure, to lock in the best available price and financing rate.

STEP 03
Finalize & Protect

Meridian Complete clients get every figure audited before the dealership visit. With the contract already verified, all that's left is the signature — remote e-sign or at the desk — and the drive home.

What We Analyze

Nothing gets signed
until every number checks out.

LN 01
Vehicle Price vs. Invoice

Invoice pricing, holdback, and any live manufacturer incentives tell us what the dealer actually paid — which tells us the strongest offer the numbers can support.

LN 02
Market Position

How long the car has sat, how many like it are nearby, and what competing stores are asking all shape your leverage. We map it before we make the first call.

LN 03
Financing Rate Integrity

The APR on your paperwork gets checked against the rate the lender actually approved, exposing any spread the dealer added for itself.

LN 04
F&I Product Assessment

Each item on the finance menu is weighed against the vehicle you're buying, the coverage you already carry, and the protection you genuinely need.

LN 05
Fee Verification

Doc fees, admin charges, and pre-installed add-ons get compared to state fee limits and typical market pricing — anything out of line gets challenged.

LN 06
Trade-In Valuation

Trading in? We benchmark the store's offer against live wholesale and retail figures so you know whether the appraisal holds up.

F&I Review

A great price can vanish
in the last room you sit in.

Winning on the sticker is half the job. The finance office is the other half — a menu of high-margin add-ons that can quietly push your payment right back up. Before anything gets signed, we go through the dealer's itemized worksheet and flag inflated markups and products you don't need.

GAP Coverage
Often Worth It

Pays the difference between what insurance reimburses and what you still owe if the vehicle is declared a total loss. Genuinely useful when you put little money down.

Extended Warranty
Sometimes Worth It

Reasonable if you buy it near dealer cost and plan to keep the car beyond factory coverage. Typical dealer markup runs 200–400% — we push the price back toward cost.

Tire & Wheel
Context Dependent

Earns its keep on pothole-heavy city roads and low-profile tires. In most other situations it costs more than it returns. We assess your roads and your wheels before you decide.

Paint Sealant
Evaluate Carefully

An inexpensive treatment applied at prep and billed at $400–$1,200 — a steep multiple of its real cost. Rarely a good value, but we examine the exact line item on your contract.

Key Replacement
Check Existing Coverage

Your comprehensive auto policy may already pay for lost or damaged keys. Confirm what your insurer covers first — duplicate protection is money spent twice.

GAP Waiver (Lease)
Check Your Lease First

Captive leasing companies frequently build gap protection into the lease itself. Read the agreement before buying it again at the finance desk.

Knowledge Base

Plain answers to
real questions.

The car business thrives on jargon and vague answers. We'd rather answer the questions buyers actually have, in plain English.

Consult an Advisor

A dealership's employees are paid to move the deal in the dealership's favor. Our only client is you. We take no referral money from any dealer; your flat advisory fee is the whole of our compensation. That's what keeps our interests and yours identical.

Usually just once — to sign and pick up the car — and even that step disappears if your dealer supports remote e-signing. The whole negotiation happens without you present. When the numbers are locked, you book a single appointment: walk in, confirm the contract we've already vetted, and leave with the keys, typically in half an hour or less. Rather skip the trip entirely? Add our transport coordination service and the car comes to you.

Three advantages: deal volume, dealer relationships, and better information. We work from invoice figures, holdback, regional marketing money, and the manufacturer programs running right now — and we know which stores in a given market are chasing month-end numbers and ready to deal.

The full finance-office menu: GAP, extended service contracts, tire and wheel coverage, paintless dent repair, key replacement, and bundled ancillary packages. Every Meridian Complete engagement includes this review before you sign — for each product we lay out what it actually does, what a fair market price looks like, and whether it can be cancelled later, so nothing gets signed on faith.

None. Negotiations run over phone, email, and dealer portals, so we can source and close deals in any state. If the right car is far away, optional transport coordination covers carrier selection, insurance verification, and delivery scheduling — the vehicle shows up at your door.
