California Privacy Rights
California residents hold specific rights over their personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). These include the right to ask what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the right to have that information deleted, and the right to learn whether it has been sold or disclosed. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, send a request to legal@meridianautoadvisory.com; we will respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request.
Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be revised from time to time. When a material change is made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect it. By continuing to use the website after a revision takes effect, you accept the updated policy. We suggest checking back on this page periodically.
Children's Privacy
Our website and services are meant for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, let us know at legal@meridianautoadvisory.com and we will remove it promptly.
Cookies and Analytics
We set only the minimal cookies the site needs to work. There are no advertising cookies and no behavioral tracking pixels, and the site functions normally even in browsers configured to block all cookies.
Google Analytics (a service of Google LLC) collects anonymized usage data on our behalf: page views, referral sources, geographic region, device type, and session length. It relies on cookies to tell unique visitors apart and to record interactions with the site, and Google processes that data under its own Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We additionally run Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which gather anonymized page views, referral sources, device types, and performance metrics. Vercel, Inc. processes this data, which serves only to improve how the site performs; it is never tied to your personal identity or used for advertising. Vercel's handling of the data is described in its Privacy Policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Data from all of these analytics services goes solely toward understanding usage patterns and improving site performance. None of it feeds advertising, and none of it is connected to who you are.
Data Retention
Client engagement records are kept for three years after an engagement is completed or terminated, in line with standard business record-keeping practice and applicable Delaware law. If you want your information removed from our records once an engagement has finished or been cancelled, send a deletion request to legal@meridianautoadvisory.com and we will handle it within 30 days.
Deletion of Personal Data
You may ask us to delete your personal information at any time. Email legal@meridianautoadvisory.com with the subject line "Deletion Request"; after verifying your identity, we will complete the request within 30 days. Be aware that certain records may be kept where the law requires it or where they are needed to finish an active engagement.
Disclosure of Personal Data
We may disclose personal information when the law compels it, or in response to valid demands from public authorities — a court order, subpoena, or government investigation. We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to protect our rights, to protect your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate suspected violations of our Terms of Service.
Should we go through a merger, acquisition, or a sale of some or all of our assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any change in the ownership or use of your personal information will be announced by email or by a prominent notice on this website.
Do Not Track
Certain browsers send Do Not Track signals to the sites they visit. We do not currently change our data collection practices when we receive one. Because we run no behavioral advertising and no cross-site tracking, this has no practical effect on your experience.
How We Use Your Information
Everything you provide is used for one purpose: carrying out your advisory engagement with Meridian Auto Advisory LLC. Your contact details let us follow up on your inquiry, your vehicle details let us prepare for dealer negotiations on your behalf, and your email address carries engagement confirmations and updates.
We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing, and we do not send unsolicited commercial email.
Information Sharing
Negotiating on your behalf necessarily means communicating with automotive dealers and financing institutions. In those communications we share only what the transaction requires — generally the vehicle specification, your geographic area, and the pricing terms you are seeking. Your personal contact information is not given to dealers unless you explicitly consent.
A small set of third-party service providers helps us run this website and process transactions, covering form submission handling and payment processing for fee collection. Each provider receives only the data needed to do its specific job and is not permitted to use your information for anything else.
Information We Collect
When you send an intake form or reach us through meridianautoadvisory.com, we collect what you supply: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, purchase timeline, and anything else you choose to share. Payment information is never collected through this website — all financial transactions run through secure third-party payment processors.
Standard server log data — IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited — is also recorded, and used only for site security and performance analysis.
Nevada Privacy Rights
Under Nevada SB 220, Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of their personal information. We do not sell personal information. For questions, email legal@meridianautoadvisory.com and put "Nevada Privacy" in the subject line.
Security
The site is delivered over HTTPS using an SSL/TLS certificate, and form submissions travel over encrypted connections. Credit card numbers, social security numbers, and other sensitive financial identifiers are never stored on our servers.
SMS and Mobile Data Sharing
Mobile information and SMS consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Third-Party Links
Links on this site may lead to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are their own — this policy does not cover them, and we are not responsible for them. Take a moment to review the privacy policy of any outside site you visit.
Transfer of Personal Data
Meridian Auto Advisory LLC serves clients nationwide, so your personal information may be processed and stored outside the state where you live. By using this website and our services, you consent to your information being transferred to the State of Delaware, where our business is registered, and to any other jurisdiction in which our service providers operate. Wherever the processing happens, we take reasonable steps to keep your data secure and handled in accordance with this privacy policy.
